The new Eau de Parfum pays homage to the emblematic colour of Japan: indigo blue, also called Japanese blue. This blue, obtained from nature, is now used in Kenzo fashion, particularly to colour Japanese denim pieces. Perfumers Ane Ayo and Florian Gallo have expressed this blue through an iris dyed with indigo ink. At the heart of the perfume, iris, the blue gold of perfumery, releases its powerful scent in powdery and woody notes. In the base note, a unique mineral accord of indigo ink combines with the smoky and leathery accents of blue vanilla to create a perfume with addictive sensuality. The perfume is made from 90% ingredients of natural origin*. The bottles are made from recycled glass** and the case is made from paper from FSC-certified forests.
